Vacheron Constantin Opens First Canadian Boutique in Toronto
Vacheron Constantin, the luxury Swiss timepiece Maison with over two hundred and sixty years of heritage, announces the opening of its first Canadian boutique in Toronto, Ontario, at Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
The best-in-class retail destination offers an unparalleled luxury shopping experience, in keeping with Vacheron Constantin’s high level of sophistication and commitment to outstanding customer service.
Vacheron Constantin was founded in 1755 and is the longest continuously operating watch manufacture in the world. Built upon a legacy of innovation and the pursuit of excellence, each Vacheron Constantin timepiece is crafted in Geneva, Switzerland with care and passion by the finest watchmakers and craftsmen. Known for achieving monumental technical feats as well as timepieces with beautiful finishing, the Canadian Vacheron Constantin boutique will carry the manufacture’s entire range of watches, as well as boutique-exclusive models. In addition, the boutique will offer the Ateliers Cabinotiers service, a highly exclusive bespoke service that allows the client to entirely customize his or her timepiece through a collaboration with Vacheron Constantin.
“Our first Canadian store marks an important step in our Maison’s expansion in North America,” said Leslie Kobrin, Vacheron Constantin President of the Americas. "We are delighted to have the opportunity to serve Canadians with a boutique in the Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Canada’s leading shopping destination with over 270 fashion, technology and luxury brands, and best-in-class services. Our location, strategically situated in Yorkdale, will enhance our client’s understanding of Vacheron Constantin, its heritage, and its commitment to excellence in high watchmaking."
The new boutique welcomes Canadian watch collectors and enthusiasts to view Vacheron Constantin’s timepieces within 700 square feet of stunning architectural and decorative details. The overarching black and bronze design code incorporates contemporary elements into a traditional aesthetic. Two custom-made black Murano Venetian crystal chandeliers form a striking silhouette at the center of the boutique, complimented by floor-to-ceiling warm oak paneling with inset shadow boxes to draw customers into the store. Sleek glass showcases, and walls finished in fine Venetian plaster, create an environment of refined elegance and introduce customers to the culture, history, and tradition of excellence that defines Vacheron Constantin.
"This location features our most directional store design concepts to date including architectural elements specifically incorporated to draw clients in, as well as a curated selection of merchandise and unique services that we hope Torontonians will love," said Leslie Kobrin, Vacheron Constantin President of the Americas.
