Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Bucherer Blue Edition

Press Release – Bucherer Blue Editions

Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Bucherer Blue Edition

Bucherer collaborates with renowned watch manufacturer Vacheron Constantin on the latest Bucherer BLUE EDITIONS creations.

The partnership has given rise to three elegant watches in the Traditionnelle model range, which are now being presented in blue for the first time. The exclusive special editions are stamped with the Poinçon de Genève and embody the high art of watchmaking while dazzling with their elegant design.

Three Innovative New Additions

Bucherer and Vacheron Constantin share a passion for the art of watchmaking and a spirit of innovation – hallmarks that have shaped the creation of a new model range for the Bucherer BLUE EDITIONS watch collection. The two companies proudly present the Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Bucherer BLUE EDITIONS in three versions: classic with date display, a small model including a bezel set with diamonds and the 14-Day Tourbillon. A particular highlight is Vacheron Constantin’s decision to present models of the Traditionnelle line in blue – uniquely and exclusively for Bucherer. The blue opaline dial – inspired by Bucherer’s corporate colour – complements the warmth of the 18K pink gold case and blue alligator leather strap to create an exceptionally sophisticated timepiece that flatters every connoisseur.

Crafted For Initiated Customers

These watches have been designed for customers who have the highest demands and, as industry connoisseurs, are searching for something unique. Beneath the modern, elegant appearance lies an array of technical sophistication and outstanding watchmaking artistry. The special editions are powered by a mechanical in-house hand-wound or automatic movement and are perfected with exquisite craftsmanship. The special characteristics of the Traditionnelle line are the stepped case, the slim bezel, the fluted case back, the railway-track- minute circle, the carefully applied “bâtons de Genève” index hour markers and the elegant dauphine hands. All three timepieces also bear the Poinçon de Genève (also known as the “Hallmark of Geneva”) – guaranteeing the origin, savoir-faire, durability and precision of the watch.

Two Ambassadors Of Haute Horlogerie Showcase Their Affinity With Exceptional Timepieces

“The Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Bucherer BLUE EDITIONS are prime examples of outstanding technical and aesthetic expertise,” says Patrick Graf, Chief Commercial Officer at Bucherer. Vacheron Constantin – founded in 1755 and consequently the world’s oldest watch manufacturer in continuous operation – has developed and perfected these skills over the course of its history, which now spans nearly 300 years. The Bucherer BLUE EDITIONS models present a perfect example of the Swiss watchmaking tradition upheld by both companies, which have come to symbolise the pursuit of continuous innovation and unique elegance. These are values cultivated by the traditional companies in their quest to constantly inspire watch aficionados with their in-depth knowledge of, and passion for, the watchmaking profession.

The new special editions will be exclusively available in selected Bucherer stores and in the Bucherer online shop from 26 September 2018.
